An Exercise in Perspective

If God actually exists, how lucky we are to be the only thing he cares about or mentions!  How lucky we are he chose a land so close by to bear a son.  A lot of wasted space indeed.  Come, have a look:

the cynicism runs in your veins, Mikey. LOL

But who also ensures that God only cares about us? a new topic to discuss, there is life on other planets?

I found that pretty pointless.

No offense, but so did I.

What?!? That was totally great and interesting. It gives a lot of perspective.
It makes you understand that everything is relative... to everything else! And that everything is arranged in a way that fits (science/god), and that the structure of existence is the same at all magnitudes, it's just the materials that are different.
This is the kind of stuff that makes me feel like something larger than us exists, and simultaneously that you will never be able to 'meet' it because it is not a being like we are each conscious beings.

Anyway. I'm depressed, I don't know what I'm doing for new year's eve. Still can't seem to get perspective on that.

I have seen this video before and I think it is a great display of how insignificant we are. One human is not even a microscopic spec from deep space. And the fact that we are made up of soo many smaller particles...how can one think that we have such a high and mighty purpose...when in compared to the scale of the entire universe...we dont even make up 1% of it. So this is def. not pointless...as long as you open your mind.
