we watched that documentary a couplea months back, and now my husband and his friend are trying a few earthships up here. The other day he came home sore from pickaxe-ing (is that a word?) at the ground all day to make a place for the foundation. Great stuff.
I stayed in one of these for a week near taos, new mexico. it was so awesome. i definitely recommend it to anyone whos interested in being green. the houses are also all so unique and the location's amazing. whats not to love?
ps-saw you guys in chicago at the HOB tonight. i got your set list...on a plate..? haha. you guys kicked ass. as always :)
